Company Profile
After buying and selling a couple of residential properties in the 1990s, Murphy Properties, LLC was started in 2001. Murphy Properties' first project was the renovation of 808 East Patrick Street. Over the next six years, four additional residential properties were purchased in Downtown Frederick. All properties were extensively renovated and are leased under annual lease agreements.
In July 2008, the partners purchased two adjoining properties (row houses) in Frederick’s Historic District with the intent of renovating and selling. Both properties were extensively renovated and subsequently sold. In January 2010, a new company was formed (Murphy Properties II, LLC) to establish Sue and Lisa as majority owners, and to differentiate the "renovate to rent" company from the "renovate to sell" company.
